Happy Holidays from Big Red Sharks!

It feels a little strange sitting down to write a holiday message when it's close to 90 degrees outside. The Christmas season sort of snuck up on me, though admittedly I may have been purposefully avoiding all the warm and fuzzy feelings once I knew I wouldn't be able to go home and see my family. It’s all part of moving across the world. We have wonderful friends that have invited us to their family's Christmas day celebration at a ranch outside of town which sounds beautiful, so we'll be heading "into the bush" as they say down here. I'll let you all know if I see any exotic wildlife.

Tonight is Christmas Eve (I'm writing from the Future!) and I'll be making ramen from scratch. It just happens to be the meal we decided we wanted last minute, so I'll be spending the evening mixing Asian spices while Xmas cookie scented candles burn, holiday music plays, and the AC is on full blast because it's hot as hell outside. You know, the traditional Christmas scene.

I hope you all are having a lovely time with family and friends this holiday. To my family, I love and miss you all! I'll be calling tomorrow, probably at a weird hour because... Australia. Have a glass of wine for me everyone!
